The firing is only started and stopped by the kiln controller. The controller controls the kiln always and at any time independently of the app.
If the kiln and the controller are registered in the app Rohde myKiln and the controller is connected to the WiFi, the firing is also started and stopped automatically in the app Rohde myKiln. The recorded firing is then automatically saved and stored in the app Rohde myKiln archive.
