Preparation:
Process:
1) In step 1, the kiln manufacturer and kiln type (type, series, model) are entered. If a manufacturer other than "Rohde" is selected, the kiln type cannot be specified. Once the information has been entered, the "Next" button takes you to the next step.
2) In step 2, the technical details of the kiln (e.g. volume, Tmax) and a freely selectable kiln name are to be entered. If the kiln or controller have additional switching outputs (events), this also can be entered here. Optionally, the serial number and date of purchase of the kiln can be entered. Once all the information have been entered, the "Next" button takes you to the next step.
3) In step 3, the type of controller is selected (Which controller?). After selecting the type of controller, confirm with "Next" to go one step further.
4) The Step 4 is to register the controller. To do this, enter the code ("Access Code") on the rearside of the controller in the "Access code" fields and confirm with "Next". Registration can be skipped by clicking the "Skip registration" button. The controller can be registered elsewhere in the app Rohde myKiln.
5) If all the data have been entered correctly, the app Rohde myKiln will display the "Done" button. Press this button to save the entered kiln with controller.
6) Now, the kiln is displayed with its specified name on the overview page of the app Rohde myKiln.
Notes:
Regarding No. 2):
Attention!
Danger of personal injury and damage to property.
In the App never enter a maximum temperature of the kiln, which is indeed higher than the maximum temperature your kiln can carry!
Regarding No. 4):
The controller must be registered with the access code in the App, so that the controller (connected to the kiln) and the App can communicate with each other.
