Technical requirements
To use the app Rohde myKiln, you need:
- a WiFi-enabled router with Internet access.
- a WiFi capable controller (ST 310, ST 411, ST 630 or ST 632)
- a WiFi-enabled device (Smartphone, Tablet, Computer)

Establish a connection using a WiFi router with WPS function (automatic connection)
- Switch off the kiln controller
- Press and hold the arrow-up key.
- Switch on the kiln controller with the arrow-up key pressed.
- Keep the arrow-up key pressed until "PAIR" (ST 310 / ST 411) or "PAIRING" (ST 630 / ST 632) appears in the display of the controller. The controller is now ready for the connection to your WiFi router.
- Press the WPS button (connect button) on your WiFi router.
- After a few seconds, "PAIR" or "PAIRING" disappears from the display and the controller shows the current temperature in the main display.
- The controller is now permanently connected to your WiFi router. Even if the controller is switched off. Each time the controller is switched on again, it automatically connects to your WiFi router.
If this procedure was not successful, repeat the steps above by starting from step 1 or try the procedure "Connect using a wireless router without WPS function (manual connection)" described below.
Now the controller can communicate with the app Rohde myKiln. To proceed, the app Rohde myKiln must be opened an you also must be logged in to the app Rohde myKiln with your account.

Establishing a connection using a WiFi router without WPS function (manual connection)
- Switch off the kiln controller.
- Press and hold the arrow-down key.
- Switch on the kiln controller by holding the arrow-down key.
- Press and hold the arrow-down key until the display shows "AP" (ST 310 / ST 411) or "ACCESSPT" (ST 630 / ST 632). The controller is creating its own wireless network as an access point, now.
- Use a WiFi-enabled device (Smartphone, Tablet, Computer) to search for a wireless network called "Controller" and connect the WiFi-enabled device to it.
- After connecting the WiFi-enabled device to the wireless network called "Controller", open a web browser on the WiFi-enabled device, enter "192.168.100.1" in the address bar and open this address.
- A list of available WiFi routers is now displayed in the "WI-FI Connection" tab of the page called up.
- The matching WiFi router should now appear in this list as available.
- Select the desired WiFi router from the list by clicking on it and enter the access data or password of the router.
- Confirm by pressing the "Save/OK" button. A successful connection to the WiFi router is displayed.
- Close the web browser.
- Now, the controller automatically disconnects the wireless connection to your WiFi-enabled device because a new connection is established between the controller and your WiFi router.
- The controller is permanently connected to your WiFi router, now. Even if the controller is switched off. Each time the controller is switched on again, it automatically connects to your WiFi router.
If this procedure is unsuccessful, repeat the steps above by starting from step 1 or try the procedure "Connect using a wireless router with WPS capability (Auto connect)" described above.
Now the controller can communicate with the app Rohde myKiln. To proceed, the app Rohde myKiln must be opened an you also must be logged in to the app Rohde myKiln with your account.

To 4. : The wireless network in the access point mode of the controller is limited in time and is closed each time the controller is switched off.
To 5. : On the WiFi-enabled device, the WiFi must be activated and the controller must be within the range of the device. Ignore the following warnings from your device: No Internet available, unsecured network, connection process with the WiFi may take a little longer or similar warnings. Warnings may vary depending on the device used.
To 7. : This web interface consists of two tabs, which is displayed in your browser . The "WI-FI Connection" tab is used to integrate the controller into your WiFi. The current data and settings of the controller are displayed in the "Diagnostics" tab.
